The Government of Assam Department of Revenue and Disaster Management has created an online site called Mission Basundhara for Assamese citizens, which will allow them to apply online and check application status for land-related services in all districts across the state. On November 14, 2022, the Assam chief minister announced the “Mission Basundhara 2.0” project. Citizens of Assam who require any land-related service in Assam can seek resolution from the comfort of their own homes by using the Mission Basundhara online portal.

Applicant want to get any land related service through the mission basundhara online portal in different related service under the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management must apply online. They may follow below mentioned steps to submit their applications online.

Available Services of Mission Basundhara Assam
Service Policies: Mutation is the registration of a person’s name in the Record of Right, also known as the Jamabandi. Inheritance transfers ownership from the documented land owner to the legal heir.The mutation by right of inheritance shall be carried out in accordance with Section 53 A (1) of the ALRR, 1886. There are no user fees associated with the service.

Service Guidelines: The procedure of documenting a change/transfer in a property’s title after it has been transferred or sold. The name of the new owner is registered upon mutation, and land income is charged from the legitimate owner. There are no service fees.

- Partition for undisputed cases
Service Policies: Partition refers to the partition of a revenue-paying estate into two or more such estates, each of which is separately liable for revenue collected on it. Every recorded proprietor/landowner in actual possession of the interest in question may seek for partition. There are no service fees.

- Reclassification of agricultural land to non agricultural land less than 1 bigha
Service Guidelines: If the land’s usage is changed, the land class must also be changed from the existing to a new land class. This service is for reclassifying agricultural land to non-agricultural use if the land area is less than one bigha and the land’s usage is limited to the construction of one’s own dwelling place. There are no service fees.

Service Guidelines: Conversion is the process through which status of any land settled for one year (Annual Patta) is changed to longer tenure. Once AP land is converted to PP Land, the land owner shall have permanent, heritable and transferable right of use and occupancy in his land. No user fees for AP to PP conversion for rural areas.
