According to News18 and Mirchi 9, the film’s post-theatrical OTT streaming rights were purchased by one of the most popular streaming platforms, Disney+Hotstar, for a whopping Rs. 65 crore. According to the reports, Star Network has acquired the film’s post-theatrical satellite rights.
Now, as of September 22nd, 2022, the film is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar, but the Hindi version is unavailable; most likely, the Hindi version will be released soon; Hindi audiences should wait, reportedly until September 30th.
LIGER THEATRICAL RELEASE DATE & PRODUCTION
The film was originally scheduled to hit theatres in November 2020, but it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so it was rescheduled for September 9, 2021. However, the date was rescheduled, and the film is now set to be released on August 25, 2022, worldwide.
Previously, the film’s concept trailer was released on May 1, 2021, and the theatre release date was announced on December 31, 2021, with the first glimpse poster bearing the tagline “Saala Crossbreed.”

Vijay Deverakonda, who plays a kickboxer in the film, had to undergo a dramatic physical transformation to fit in with the character Liger.
