ITI Admission 2023 process has been started under DECT, Assam, and online applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates.
Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam is going to receive online applications form for admission into Government and private ITIs of Assam for the session 2023 – 2024. Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has recently published the official ITI admission notification regarding admission into Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Assam for several courses. Students will be able to submit their applications for admission to NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, IMC under SCVT (SCVT trades conducted by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme for the session 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of ITI Admission
Students who fulfil all the required eligibility criteria to get ITI admission are able to submit their online applications on the official portal of ITI. Also, some steps to apply online are given below, students can follow the following steps to complete their admission process.
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University are eligible for admission. For course wise details, we advise you to check the official notification.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 14 years as on 1st August 2023.

How to Apply for ITI Admission?
To get admission, candidates must attend an e-counselling session hosted by the department, but first they must register or submit an online application for this admission via the DECT, Assam’s official application portal. Candidates can also complete their online application for admission to ITI by following the simple steps outlined below.

>After that login with your Login Id and Password, and complete the application process.
>Before submitting the application form, check all the details carefully and then click on the submit button.
> At the end, take the printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

ITI Assam Admission Fee
Candidates must pay an admission fee in order to get admitted to various Assam ITI. Here are the entry fees for the current academic semester.
For NCVT & SCVT Trades

Counselling of ITI Assam Admission
>Counselling for ITI Admission 2023 will begin in due course, in accordance with the admission schedule. Only when the documents have been verified will eligible candidates be permitted to participate in the selection process. Candidates must choose the course and college of their choosing during the counselling process in order to get admitted.
>After that, the relevant authorities will look at the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination and compile the merit list appropriately. As a result, the seat allotment results for each round will be announced, and successful candidates will be required to report to the college/institute of their choice for additional admission requirements.
