Assam Post Office Recruitment 2023 Last Date Selection Procedure The steps of Recruitment are as follows:
Merit List Preparation: Applicants will be shortlisted for engagement based on a system generated merit list. The merit list will be generated based on the marks obtained/conversion of Grades/Points to Marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th Standard of Approved Boards, aggregated to a percentage with a 4 decimal precision. All subjects must be passed according to the respective recognised board requirements.
Document Verification: To complete the recruitment process, the shortlisted candidates must attend the document verification process. Shortlisted candidates must have their documents checked by the mentioned divisional head by the deadline. The candidate should bring all necessary original documents for verification. Shortlisted candidates will have 15 days to submit their documents for verification.
If the data/marks provided into the Portal are discovered to be mismatched with the genuine documents during the verification of documents following shortlisting of an applicant, his/her candidature will be rejected, even if there is a minor spelling error in the applicant’s name, father/mother name, etc.
Appointment: After satisfactory document verification, a candidate will be appointed as Gramin Dak Sevak under the jurisdiction of the particular division.
